As Owner of 5280 Contracting, Jon brings decades of construction experience and a passion for building homes that stand the test of time. Known for his precision, leadership, and commitment to quality, Jon guides each project with a focus on craftsmanship and client satisfaction. His vision has helped shape 5280 Contracting into a trusted name in custom homes and luxury remodels, where every detail is executed with care and excellence.
Outside of work, Jon finds balance in the outdoors, whether hiking Colorado’s trails or enjoying time in nature with family and friends. He also trains in jiu-jitsu, a discipline that mirrors his dedication, perseverance, and respect for detail—qualities he carries into every project. Playfully known around the team as the “Maestro of the Make,” Jon blends expertise, creativity, and good humor, ensuring each home is not only beautifully built but also a place where lasting memories can be made.

At 5280 Contracting, he leads projects with a balance of craftsmanship and client-focused care, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully executed. His dedication and expertise have earned him the lighthearted title of “Baron of the Build.”
Outside of work, Travis is an explorer at heart. A geology enthusiast and avid rockhound, he enjoys uncovering Colorado’s natural treasures, from unique stones to rugged landscapes. When he’s not out in nature, he enjoys a good game of soccer, either playing on Sundays or reveling at the pub. Known for blending professionalism with creativity and good humor, Travis makes every project as enjoyable as the result.
